Boy George: Meu conselho sobre a selva para Sam Thompson? Não faça todas as coisas que eu fiz!
Quando Boy George apareceu nos estúdios da Greatest Hits Radio para conversar com Ken Bruce, Ken aproveitou a oportunidade para perguntar se ele tinha algum conselho para o apresentador da Hits Radio, Sam Thompson. Sam está atualmente na Austrália e prestes a ser visto no filme I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here deste ano! Boy George participou do show do ano passado e foi a quarta estrela a deixar o acampamento.
Boy George disse a Ken: ‘Você pensa que pode lidar com qualquer coisa, mas isso o tira de todas as zonas de conforto possíveis. A comida é a única coisa que agita todo mundo!
Eu diria para respirar, manter a calma e se envolver em tudo. As tarefas são divertidas porque ficar sentado no acampamento é muito chato. Então, quando você sai para fazer uma tarefa é meio revigorante. Na verdade, gostei muito das tarefas porque meu limite de tédio é muito baixo! Envolva-se, não discuta com as pessoas, não fale muito – não faça todas as coisas que eu fiz! Ignore o que eu fiz!
Ken também perguntou ao cantor do Culture Club qual era sua parte favorita da selva, ao que Boy George respondeu: ‘Saindo!’

Boy George: My jungle advice for Sam Thompson? Don’t do all the things I did!
When Boy George popped into the Greatest Hits Radio studios for a chat with Ken Bruce, Ken took the opportunity to ask him if he has any advice for Hits Radio presenter Sam Thompson. Sam is currently in Australia and about to be seen in this year’s I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Boy George took part in last year’s show and was the fourth star to leave the camp.
Boy George told Ken: ‘You go in thinking you can handle anything, but it takes you out of every possible comfort zone. Food is the one thing that agitates everyone!
I would say breathe, stay calm and get involved in everything. The tasks are the fun bit because all the sitting around in camp is very boring. So, when you go out to do a task it’s kind of invigorating. I actually really enjoyed the tasks because my boredom threshold is very low! Get involved, don’t argue with people, don’t say too much – don't do all the things that I did! Ignore what I did!’
Ken also asked the Culture Club singer what his favourite bit about the jungle was, to which Boy George responded - ‘Leaving!’
